We have a big announcement from headquarters! Froggy is going to debut our first single, "Break Me Down," Monday April 14th on The Danger Show from 3 to 5 in the afternoon. I would like to thank all the people at Froggy for their support through the years and their continued support. Maybe you are asking yourself, "want can I do??" I need all of you to call and request the song as much as you can. Tell every one of the DJs you want to hear "Break Me Down", by The Chris Higbee Project.
A few months ago I got a interesting phone call from a good friend of mine, Donnie Iris. He asked me to play on a tune for his new album. Go to
www.donnieiris.com and download, "I can't really miss you (If you never go away)."
I have received a ton of questions about whether or not we are playing at Jamboree in the Hills 2008. Well... I am very proud to say that we are! Saturday, July 19th...and it’s the big day! We are getting the times locked down, but I am so very happy to be a part of Jamboree. I have been there the last three years and the summer wouldn’t be the same without it this year. Get your water guns ready!! Lol

What's up everybody! We have a lot of things happening in the world of CHP. Check out our new page, www.myspace.com/chrishigbeeproject . People are telling me that they wish there was another way to get the schedule and info about CHP other than the internet. The Chris Higbee Project HotLine is 724-323-5662. You can call this number and get our schedule and leave a brief message with any questions you might have about upcoming shows.
I have been itching to get outside and enjoy the warm weather. Baseball season is almost here and speaking of that, I am proud to say that I will be apart of the Pirates Home Opener vs. the Cubs. The Pirates have asked me to play a tune on my fiddle down on the field. Come and enjoy the day of Pirate Baseball with me.
I would like to welcome Ben Janusey as a sponsor of CHP. Benzy's Diesel Performance specializies in Truck proformance and he has beefed my truck up something serious... Not to mention with the price of Gas and Diesel fuel he has figured out how to get me a few more miles to the gallon! Go to my contact page and give Ben a call and see what his business can do for you.
Thanks for the great weekend and I hope to see you soon!
Chris

Show starts at 10 but I would get there a little early... I hear seats will be going fast. See you all Saturday.

Welcome to my website! Well, the last couple of weeks have been pretty interesting for me. I spent 3 days camping on the roof of the moose to raise money for MS. A lot of the money is still coming in, so I am not really sure of the count just yet. The band has been working hard learning originals and other tunes for our first gig on Friday at Saddle Ridge. We are also doing a couple of benefits in March. March 14th we are playing a benefit for All Saints School. I visited the school last weekend and it brought a real joy to my heart walking around and spending a little time with everybody. When I walked into the school, I saw that every class had made me a poster and hung it in the hallway at the entrance of the room. Check them out on the media page. I can't wait to do this benefit. I guess one of the perks about performing and entertaining people is that you're always surrounded by happy smiling people. I have yet to find an organization that is so appreciative for everybody's efforts. Make sure you come out to the show for two reasons: Helping the school and it's the first time the project plays in the area.
I can't tell you all how excited I am to get back out and start playing again! Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Playing on stage is like breathing for me... I HAVE TO HAVE IT. Fortunately, there are a lot of great musicians in the area that want to play music. I have been playing music with most of the guys in the project for a long time, so everything is just fitting together. The excitement and energy from the stage, combined with original tunes and great music will bring you a show worth seeing.
Well I can't wait to see you at a show soon. I'll try to update the news end of the website every week and let you know how things are developing. Always remember wherever you go, there you are. Peace out!!!
